The Naughtiest Old Fashioned
This one comes to us from @kellyenglish78. I guess that’s postmodern life for you: we now refer to some of our best, most-delightfully-offshore friends by their ‘Gram handles. If your name doesn’t start with an @, you ain’t real!
Anyway, here’s @kellyenglish78’s delicious twist on the age-old classic. It’s easy to make with just a few choice ingredients and you’re extremely unlikely to regret it.
Ingredients
2 oz Unsinkable Bourbon
0.25 oz Unsinkable Chocolate Liqueur
0.25 oz simple syrup
Splash of bitters
Method
You know how these things go: put all the liquids above into a (preferably ice cold) mixing glass of some sort. Some of you have crystal barware from the reign of the last Tsar. Others are using a plastic beer cup from the 2004 Giants home opener.
Either way, add a bunch of ice and stir relentlessly for 30 seconds.
Strain into an ice cold rocks glass waiting there for you full of fresh ice (or, better yet, a single frosty ice boulder). Maybe squeeze an orange peel over the bad boy.
Then…you know what to do.
