Strawberry Negroni
Ingredients
1 oz Strawberry-infused Marin Coastal Gin
1 oz Campari or equivalent (we recommend St. George’s Bruto Americano or Brucato’s Orchard Amaro)
1 oz Sweet vermouth
Method
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir for 30 seconds
Strain into a rocks glass over a large cube
Garnish with an orange peel or sliced strawberry.
BUT FIRST - Infuse the Gin!
To infuse the gin, rinse, hull, and halve one pound of strawberries and combine with 14-16 oz of Marin Coastal Gin (~2/3rds of a bottle) in a sealable, quart-size jar.
Store in the fridge for 3-4 days, agitating daily.
After the refrigerator infusion, strain using a mesh strainer (muddling the strawberries can help extract additional gin) and discard the strawberries.
Store the infused gin in the fridge. It’ll last up to 6 months.
